Stephen Lewis's days are as predictable and boring as the tax law he practices. That is until he meets Xavier Dumont, a mysterious and dead sexy younger man. After having his heart broken by his long-time lover, Stephen is going through the motions and burying himself in his work instead of following his dreams. But if Xavier has his way, Stephen will seize the day—and the night.

The writing was good, as always, and the characters had potential, but it was far too short. And I don't just mean that in a "It was so good I wanted more" kind of way, but in a "The story wanting to be told was too ambitious for the amount of words it was confined to" kind of way. The whole thing felt very unfinished, like we were reading a teaser scene from the beginning of a book.

I got it for free on Amazon, but honestly, I don't think this one is worth the time, not without more substance.

A Taste of Midnight edition by Keira Andrews Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This was a quick read with some interesting characters. I would have loved to read more. I did enjoy it.
This was a very short read, but I did enjoy it. I could relate to Stephen a little bit, from what I've learned about him. He was cute with Xavier, and I hope that there's a story about their trip to Europe. It ended rather abruptly, but other than that it was very enticing. )
It was a cute story but Idk I just couldnt connect with the characters at all. The characters really had no development or personality per se. It was probably a mercy the smexy times were omitted , but even the lead in to the fade out was bland. Ya that word is my choice of description... Bland.
Short but sweet! A very nice little paranormal read. Kinda love at first sight or bite as it were in this case. I really enjoyed it.
My first time reading Keira Andrews and it was a nice contemporary paranormal short story. Short stories are tricky, they can say a lot in a few words or they can leave you wanting, this fits into the latter category, but it was a nice quickie nevertheless, and I liked the author's easy style. It's free as at the time of this review, so maybe grab a copy for a quick bite.
A cute short story about a jilted tax lawyer and the hottie he meets at the MVD. Keira Andrews gives you a taste of her writing prowess with this short and frankly it makes me want to read more! Keira if you're thinking of writing a full volume, I'll be first in line. Seriously, who wouldn't love a man with a pug named Sancho?
Twenty-two pages of luscious, vampiric loving is not enough for me. This was wonderfully good. Like a tasty tapas. Yet, we all know that one tapas does not a meal make AND I AM HUMGRY FOR MORE!

This was utterly delightful. Keira Andrews, please write me more of these two men. Pretty please?
